TAC COMPANY HISTORY
Technical Assistance Company is a CAD Drafting firm located in Oostburg, Wisconsin. Founded in 1978 by Lelan (Lee) M. Gumm, TAC has evolved from its early beginnings as a reprographics and drafting firm to a CAD drafting and engineering support operation. Lee retired in 2017, and is pleased to have BJ Reenders, owner of Cedar Creek Surveying, continue his legacy, which now spans over 37 years.

Licensed Land Surveyor
Owner
BJ Reenders has over 19 years of experience in the land surveying and geomatics industry and is currently licensed in Wisconsin, Michigan, and Colorado.
His career began in Michigan, working at Tru-Line Surveying and Exxel Engineering as a project surveyor for ALTA surveys, residential subdivisions, commercial and industrial development projects. Some of the projects included hospitals, schools, big box stores, high rise building control, structural site monitoring, waste water treatment plants, subdivision roads, county roads and state road projects.
In 2008, Mr. Reenders moved to Wyoming and became a principal owner and survey department manager at 609 Consulting where he worked on oil and gas development projects and municipal road and water distribution projects. During this time, Mr. Reenders became licensed in Wyoming, Utah, North Dakota, and Colorado.
In 2015, Mr. Reenders returned to the Great Lakes region and founded Cedar Creek Surveying in eastern Wisconsin. Cedar Creek is growing to meet demand and has a reputation for exceeding expectations. Cedar Creek has completed a wide range of projects such as WISDOT construction staking, topos for site design, construction staking, municipal surveys and subdivision surveys.
In May of 2017, Cedar Creek acquired Technical Assistance Company to expand its drafting and mapping capabilities.
When he’s not at the office, BJ spends his free time with his family, camping and fishing.
Peter Rohde
CADD Draftsman
Peter Rohde has been a drafting technician for over 22 years. His career began by joining Technical Assistance Company (TAC) in 1995, where he gained experience in a wide range of drafting for a very diverse clientele.
Mr. Rohde maintains CAD standards and client records, so that clients have a seamless interaction with TAC as their drafting department.
In 2017, TAC was acquired by Cedar Creek Surveying, and Mr. Rohde continues to offer his drafting expertise to Cedar Creek Surveying, DBA TAC.
When he’s not drafting, Peter enjoys time with his family and 4-wheeling with his Jeep and Jeep club.
